About Phil Windall
Phil Windall is the owner and director of Span Design Ltd.
With a degree in 3D Design, he has spent many years working in the construction and fabrication industries in the UK, France and Australia. His experiences eventually led him to working with fabric in the early 1990's, producing and installing some bespoke internal blind structures for a London architect.
Several years later, after working as a designer and project manager for large fabric structure companies such as Architen, Landrell, and Clyde Canvas, Phil now uses his experiences to focus more on the small scale structures where overcoming difficult detailing and an efficient approach to design are an essential requirement for success.
In his spare time he enjoys rock climbing and cycling, but he is also usually engrossed in some fairly major DIY projects at home.
He's married to Sarah and they have four fantastic daughters.
